HER TRUE IDENTITY

CLARA yearns to enter the fashion world, inspired by non other than the legendary Elsa Schiaparelli. She spends all her spare time sketching gowns and learning to sew. One day she stumbles on a discarded bolt of tartan fabric that peaks her creative flair, convincing her she is ready to change the fashion world.

LILLY is determined to become a reporter in the male dominated landscape of journalism. All she needs is a headline story, and when the editor-in-chief at The Daily Press asks her to transcribe the contents of an old journal written in shorthand, she believes she has a lead that will open up her career.

Fate, however, has other plans for the two women. Lilly finds herself caught up in an illegal baby-selling racket where young women and their unborn children are at the mercy of greedy profiteers. She is lured to The BellTower Maternity Hospital only to find that she too, could become a victim. Meanwhile, Clara makes an haute couture dress from the tartan fabric, earning her a spot in the prestigious ‘Gown of the Year’ design competition. However, her mother is hot on her tail, determined to take out the prize herself.
